Black screen fade in white text, ‘Lovett & Die Episode Nine.
Shake its grip on me’
White text fades out leaving the black screen
The Bass line at the start of A-ha’s Sycamore Leaves starts to play. Fade from black to the inside of a dark large bedroom it’s late at night. The drums to Sycamore leaves grow louder. The double bed has all white covers, pillows and sheets the rest of the music comes in. Slow camera travel to the bed we and woman with long hair is in the bed asleep. She is alone and tossing and turning her head moving back of forth in a dream. We don’t see her face, she is either turned away from camera and/or her hair covers her face as she moves her head back and forth. As the bass line to the song starts we linger on the dreaming woman; her legs are moving now too as if running in the dream. Morten Harket sings.
“Can’t stop…”
Cut to a black and white eye view of a wooded area at night, it is dark and raining, the eye view is moving fast and iritic as if we are running.
“…thinking ’bout it”
We hear heavy breathing of the eye view person as they run.
“It fills me…”
Camera (we) stumbles, regain balance and keep running.
“…with unease”
We can just see a road far ahead in the dark.
Out there by the roadside”
We trip and fall, we hear the person hitting the ground
“Something’s buried”
We see two female muddy hands clawing at the ground trying to get back up
“Under…”
She falls again.
“… sycamore leaves”

After credit scene ending of episode nine:
Fade from black to; Lovett and Die are in the hotel room bathroom, both are brushing their teeth. Lovett is standing in front of the mirror and Die is standing behind her trying to look in mirror. Lovett is wearing the Tigger onesie Die got her, the hood is down back behind her neck and die is bare chested with trousers on. Lovett is brushing her teeth hard and is looking irritable. Lovett stops brushing and pulls the brush from her mouth and looks at Die via the mirror not turning round to him.
Lovett –with her mouth full of toothpaste-: “So what is it between you and her then?”
Die doesn’t stop brushing his teeth.
Die: “Who?”
Lovett bends over the sink and spits into the sink with disgust and stands back up still looking at Die via the mirror.
Lovett: “What do you mean who? Who do you think?”
Die leans over Lovett really close and spits into the sink, he turns his head and Lovett turns to look at him not the mirror. Their faces are really close; he looks into Lovett in the eyes.
Die-softly-: “Are you jealous, Tigger?”
Lovett: “Jealous ?
Lovett pauses and looks into Dies eyes and then turns and runs her tooth brush angrily under the water, takes a sip of water from the tape spits it out and throws the tooth brush into the cup by the sink.
Lovett: “Of Harry? Are you joking?”
She pushes Die out the way and storms out of the bathroom. Die smiles at himself in the mirror and runs his tooth brush under the water takes a sip of water spits it out and gently puts his tooth brush it in the cup next to Lovett’s and he walks out of the bathroom.
Cut to the bedroom, Lovett is on her bed, crossed legged and holding her phone, playing the game they both were playing before; the hood of the Tigger onesie is now up on her head so we can’t see her face. Die comes into the room and lies on his bed on his back and he puts his arms behind his head and looks at the ceiling. Lovett is ignoring him or at least trying to. She keeps looking over at him, trying to do it without him seeing her doing it but the big Tigger head hood of the onesie makes this impossible. We see Die smile as he sees the Tigger head moving. Lovett is getting more and more frustrated with the phone game and Die. Eventually she throws the phone down on to the bed in front of her.
Lovett: “I’m not jealous…”
Die: “Of course you’re not.”
Lovett: “I’m not!” “I’m just… just curious that’s all.”
Die: “Didn’t curiosity kill the…”
Die sits up and looks at Lovett and looks up and down at the Tigger onesie
Die: “…Tigger?”
Lovett looks slightly embarrassed and slowly pushes the hood of the onesie backwards and down behind her head. She looks at him; she bites her lip and say dejectedly.
Lovett: “She wouldn’t wear this would she?”
Die: “Nope, not even when she was a little girl.”
Lovett ‘huffs’ picks up her phone and lies down on the bed on her right side with her back to him and she bring hood back up blocking him out. Die lies back down and start to sing softly.
Die-singing-: “The wonderful thing about tiggers. Is tiggers are wonderful things…”
Lovett: “Shut up.”
Die-singing-: “Their tops are made out of rubber, their bottoms are made out of springs.”
Lovett: “Shut up!”
Die-singing-: “They’re bouncy, trouncy, flouncy, pouncy, fun, fun, fun, fun, fun!”
Lovett sits up and throws a pillow at him, she is trying not to smile.
Die catches the pillow with one hand.
Die-singing-: “But the most wonderful thing about tiggers is…”
Lovett: “Shut it Die! Stop taking the pis…”
Die-softly and not singing-: “…You’re the only one.”
Lovett softens a bit and smiles
Lovett: “Ok I get it, it’s none of my business; I understand.”
Die half sits up and looks at Lovett.
Die: “She is my half-sister you idiot.”
Lovett’s mouth falls open with surprise and she just stares at him. Die lies back down and starts to sing again.
Die-singing again-: “They’re loaded with vim and vigor, they love to leap in your laps! They’re jumpy, bumpy, clumpy, thumpy…”
Lovett: “Your sister!?”
Lovett grabs another pillow from her bed stand and leaps off of the bed towards Die, hitting him with the pillow over and over.
Die-singing-: “Fun, fun, fun, fun, fun!”
Lovett: “Why didn’t you tell me that you little sod!”
Die-singing-: “But the most wonderful thing about tiggers is…”
Lovett: “You’re such a git!”
Die grabs Lovett round the waist as she hits him again with the pillow and pulls her onto the bed and on top of him; Lovett squirms trying (not very hard) to stop him.
Die -not singing-: “You’re the only one.”
They look at each other and then Lovett moves her head slowly down as if to kiss him but the nose of the Tigger hood hits him in the forehead before she gets too close. They both giggle.
There is a loud hard knocking on the hotel door and deep male American voice says
Male voice at the door: “Agent Die! This is the FBI open up we need to talk!”
Lovett: “FBI?”
Die: “In Wiltshire?”
Man at the door: “Pórta! It’s Jake Middlestone, I need your help.”
Die sits up fast throwing Lovett on her side on to the bed.
Die: “Jake?!”
Die hurries off of the bed and to the door. Lovett looks disappointed and she sing very sarcastically.
Lovett-singing- “Fun, fun, fun, fun…”
Die opens the door to revel a very handsome man, younger than Die; Lovett sees him and perks up a little, she takes a deep breath and sings less sarcastically and more interested.
Lovett: “… fun.”
Cut to black end of episode Nine.

This one makes me grin every time, and your skill with writing conversation makes me a bit jealous-it always comes across so naturally, flows so well, it makes me feel as if the characters are real people whom I know. 😊❤
