Fade from black to a tight head shot of Lovett and Die. We can just make out that they are standing in a crowd of people inside a large room; the sound of people chatting can be heard. Lovett and Die are talking quietly almost in whispers. Lovett is clearly uncomfortable and is looking angrily nervous. The camera slowly circles round them as they talk; the background is slightly out of focus so we can’t work out where they are.
Die: “Why are you fidgeting so much?”
Lovett: “I don’t want to be here.”
Die: “Why did you agree to come then?”
Lovett: “Because you said there wouldn’t be many people.”
Die: “There isn’t.”
Lovett pulls a face.
Lovett: “A quiet, small drinks and nibbles party you said.”
Die: “And it is.”
Lovett: “At a friend’s house you said.”
Die: “You make it sound like I lied. And I didn’t.”
Lovett: “But you didn’t mention…”
The camera is now facing them again and we pan back and out to take in a large room with dozens and dozens of people in the formal evening wear. Die is wearing a black tuxedo and bow tie and Lovett is wearing a silken long red figure hugging dress. They are both holding a glass of champagne each.
Lovett: “… it was at the Russian bloody Embassy!”
Die: “Did I not?
Lovett: “No, you didn’t!”
Die: “You do look absolutely dazzling in that dress.”
Lovett: “Dazzling? I should have known you were up to something when you asked me to wear it. Git! I feel so out of place Die.”
Die: “Just relax, it’s two days until Christmas, enjoy yourself for a change.”
Lovett: “Where’s the food?”
A very large round Father Christmas steps in front of them; his white hair is sticking out of his hat that is pulled down low and the white beard is so bushy we can barely see his eyes or face at all. He rings a hand bell in front on Lovett and Die.
Santa: “Ho! Ho! Ho!”
Lovett: “God, I hate Christmas.”
Santa moves away and we follow him as we hear Die sing.
Die: “You’re a mean one Misses Grinch.”
Lovett punches him in the arm.
Die: “Ow.”
Lovett: “You said there’d be food.”
Their voices fade as we follow Santa around the room ringing his bell in front to the people.
Die: “There is.”
Lovett: “Black fish eggs!”
The room is huge with a very high ceiling; the far wall has two open large staircases, one on left and one on the right they sweep up and round joining onto a large balcony with a big door in the middle. We watch Santa walk up the open stairs and round to the door. He opens the door and goes into a corridor open the first door and closes it is behind. The room is small and dark. He pulls the hat, white wig and beard off to revile the long black hair of a woman.
Lindsey Stirling’s violin version of ‘Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy’ starts to play.
She pulls the Santa suit off, she is slim and tall; dressed in an all-black cat suit the ‘fat belly’ is a bag around her middle, she pulls out a ski mask and puts it on and pushes the bag round to her back,.
She rushes to the window and opens it and climbs out. Cut to her climbing up the side of the building. She goes up two floors to a window ledge and takes out a small suction cup with a metal arm at the top; she sticks the cup to the glass and switches on a laser that cuts a round hole in the glass as she moves it round in a circle she pulls the cup and the circle of glass; pull her arm in the hole and undoes the catch of the window and opens the window and climbs inside. Inside the room is dark and there is a glass case with a small blue Faberge egg in it. Quickly she goes to it and she uses the takes out a small suction cup with a metal arm to cut a glass circle out of the case; she grabs the egg and stuffs it into her belly bag and turns to rush back to the window. The door to the room open and a large man in a black suit walks in. The woman rushes to him and with a back round house kick to his head knocks him out. She pulls him into the room farther and closes the door. She runs back to the window and climbs out. We pan round and down to see a small red light start to flash on and off on the side of the case. Cut to back outside the building as she climbs back down to the window she came out of. Cut into the room; she climbs in the window. Removes her bag and quickly unzips the cat suit under it she is wearing sliver underwear. She pulls a short sliver slinky dress and shoes from the bag; puts them on, puts the egg into a small sliver shoulder bag. And takes out a small white business card out of the bag and holds it in her hand: She goes out the door the way she came in as Santa.
Cut to her confidently walking down the stairs.
Lovett see her coming down the stair and elbows Dies.
Lovett: “Now that’s Dazzling.”
Die: “Wow.”
The woman moves quickly to the bottoms of the stairs and sees Lovett and Die. She moves across the room quickly towards them and bumps into Die’s right shoulder hard.
Woman: “O, prosti menya.”
She hurries off towards the exit and Lovett and Die watch her go.
Lovett: “Did that seem odd to you?”
Die takes out the small white business card from his right jacket pocket, on it is printed
Джек Фрост.
Eight men in black suits rush from the door at the top of the stairs and down the stairs and alarm bells start ring loudly.
Die: “Yes. A bit.”
The last notes of the dance of the sugar plum fairy plays.

This has got to be one of the best Christmas Specials I have ever had the pleasure of reading, and rereading. Your way with characters sparks creativity and anticipation, and I simply cannot help but look forward to reading as much of your writing as you are willing to share, over and over. Thank you. 😊❤
